WORKSHOPS & LECTURES

With over a decade of teaching experience at institutions such as the University of British Columbia, Emerson College, the Emily Carr University of Art and Design, Langara University, Simon Fraser University, InFocus Film School, and Vivo Media Arts, Devan Scott has brought his production and post-production knowledge to dozens of classrooms around the world as well as organizations such as Global Media. He has also publicly hosted lecture series and interviews with figures such as cinematographer Dean Cundey and sound designer Mark Mangini at venues such as the Vancouver Film Festival and Pacific Cinematheque.

His lectures combine industry experience, production, post-production and imaging science expertise, and academic rigor to create a dynamic learning environment in which scholarship and studio practice are freely mixed.

Devan is available for in-person or remote workshops for colour grading and cinematography, public speaking engagements, and corporate training sessions.
